Sheila
I qualified as a TEFL teacher in 2001 and moved to Spain immediately afterwards. I taught, mainly in the village, to all ages and up to B2 level. I am passionate about pronunciation and the phonetic alphabet which I believe is the key to improving speaking and listening skills. Any of my current and former students will tell you that I never stop talking about the need for the phonetic alphabet to be taught to all students learning English! I returned to the UK just over a year ago and I still am in contact with many ex pupils and students.
